15. Everything is a cycle

Everything? Everything.

As said on the picture.. Everything is a cycle.. Everything revolves in a circle..
A baby is born, another one dies
As said on the Filipino song "Gulong ng palad, ang buhay ay, gulong ng palad" Everything revolves. Lets set an example, like me, Migell Adrian G. Gonzalo, once I was a plain guy no dreams, no assets, no talent and no nothing. I'm poor, I have nothing. In short, I was a little boy who have nothing but dreams. As I grew up, I began being fat, by the time I was in grade 4, then I got thin in 2nd year, AND THEN I GET FAT. Some might say that, it's nothing but rubbish. Try living my life. It's complicated.

But little by little, I start to pick the lego blocks up. Start building a new person. A new Migell. A new guy who can do things. Picking up the pieces weren't easy, some pieces are very small to pinch, like small details in my life. Like that one time I got in a fight, I tried to move on, and wash that dirty piece of block but the world didn't even give me a chance. As I build myself up, I at least tried to add some blocks like my talents, guitar and dancing. Although it's hard, I still pushed it. PUSHED IT TO THE LIMIT LIKE NO ONE EVEN CARES IF I DO IT. Of course some people want to remove those building blocks off but I never gave them the chance. Finding those blocks weren't easy. I tell you that adding a little piece of detail in your life affects the whole you.

Someday I will leave the world.. with nothing.. no memories, and no lesson to give.

Take a good look.

14. What is life without me

What is life without Migell Adrian G. Gonzalo.. Hmm.. I'm just a regular person who can do things.. People say that I'm a show-off.. but not really.. Maybe in their eyes that is.. but I really am not. To be clear, I just want to express myself. I dance in classroom because I want to, that is unfair to singers, they just put out a note if they are bored.

I just want to say or share 10 facts about me (true to life)
1. I should be dead right now.
2. I really hate children
3. I crack up when I hear the word "edi wow" I don't like that expression
4. I am a jolly person
5. I don't back out in a fight
6. If you want it, you'll get it. With restrictions of course
7. I am single
8. I usually choose cheese than butter
9. I can make you dinner within one hour
10. Never challenge me to a staring contest. Coz specifically I'll win.

I am a type of person that you could go with. I can change, people tend to say bad things about me. What is wrong? Why are you people like that? Is my kindness too much? Come on..

13. SoCSIT's All English Term?

All English term? It's like putting the icing first before the cake. It's like putting the decorations before the whole thing. But I'm not against it. It already happened. So, moving on. All English subjects with a twist, algebra and some information technology concepts. Although its just an English term, they've put a little twist. It seems easy but it's not.

On my perspective, in our first term there were a lot of costs and liabilities. What do I mean? A lot of money spent. On speech choirs, t-shirts, chants & cheers, etc.

EVERYTHING HAS A FINE SYSTEM. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY. DOES A SINGLE 50 PESOS AINT ENOUGH?! WHY?! 15 MINUTES LATE FOR WHAT? You get my point.

12. Is it SoCSIT week? or SoCSIT days?

Needless to say but it's really confusing. As a freshmen student, I enjoyed the activities that the JPCS planned. The opening of SoCSIT is absolutely amazing. You can see posters of every block in SoCSIT. (I'll just state the events that I've attended) Mr. and Ms. SoCSIT, the night where we (APCDC) performed. The night was tiring but fun. Not only because we performed on stage but we represent every block that joined. To add, every year.

So that's it, Nothing to explain. Frankly, I didn't get to participate in some events. But the major events.

11. APC's Anti-Smoking Campaign

Why smoke? Is there a point to smoking? Why are people doing it? Again, what's the point? Smoking has been around for a lot of years. 5000 BC up to know? That's crazy. As I see it, it's just engraving smoke to your entire body. Like suffocating yourself. There are risks from smoking. I mean, MAJOR RISKS that can CAUSE YOUR DEATH. You could have cancers, like; (refer to the picture)

See those? Those things can cost your life. Long term diseases (green font) Stroke. That's a major problem. Oh god, I can't imagine the people I saw smoking having these. Some in my family, but what can I do? As my point of view, I just want to pour a big bucket of water just to save the lives of these poor souls. In my family, my parents learned. How about my brothers? my uncles, my aunties? I don't know how will I do it. I feel hopeless. What will I say? "Smoking kills" ? They always hear those words.

Smoking can still be cured, it can still be away from a person. You can still turn your back.

10. Frosh night 2.0

Frosh night was a blast. The APCDC trainees performed even the band, we had a party, and had a tiring night. What is Frosh Night, they say that Frosh Night is the most memorable day that a freshmen student will have. Unfortunately for others, it’s not. As my experience, I saw people partying, I saw people at the side, and saw people just drinking from the fountain. In my point of view, it was really hot, as a normal Filipino dude would say “partida dalawang aircon pa naka-bukas nyan” LIKE REALLY EVERYONE IS WET SWEATY.

The performing group (APCDC)

Sadly to say that not every freshmen saw our performance. My block weren't present. That didn't stop me to perform neatly. Although I'm doing this for them they seem not to care. I represent SS151. But they seem not to care. BUT, Not only my block but my inspirations. My parents, my crush and my haters. Haha. More hate, more fame.

To sum it all up, Frosh Night was fun. All your worries, problems, and assignments will be forgotten for one night.

9. Do I have what it takes to be a Filipino? (speech pubspe2)

Migell Adrian G. Gonzalo
SS151
Do I have what it takes to be a Filipino?
Yes, not only because I was born in the Philippines. I was made to be and meant to be one. There is a saying that everything happens for a reason, or happened. God has a million or trillion reasons why I’m Filipino.
I’ve always asked myself, what are the good characteristics of a Filipino individual? Some say that Filipinos are humble, hospitable and friendly. Of course as one, I would believe them. Like that one time we had a visitor from another place, Singapore to be exact. And I asked him, “What is your first impression when you see an average Filipino?” he answered “Hospitable”. At first I didn’t understand him because what I heard was “hospitabur”. Not to be stereotype but I’m being honest. We Filipinos are really hospitable in the fact that we accept people respectfully. Filipinos are humble in a way that they don’t let a person down, we Filipinos don’t pull ourselves down like there’s no hope. We are friendly, internationally and spiritually.
What are the originalities of the Philippine Culture? As religious, we pray before we eat, before we sleep, and even after we wake up. We Filipinos have a weird instinct in facts of fashion. As I’ve remembered, my parents were buying pants from a foreign store. And my father asked the store clerk for a perfect fit size pants, and as told, the lady did find one. And my mother took it and fit it with her neck. The lady asked “What is she doing?” my father proudly answered “Fitting the pants you gave her.” It’s funny because we Filipinos would know if a pair of pants will fit.
We have something to be proud of, like in boxing we have Manny Pacquiao having his first taste of fame. Entitled him as the Filipino pride. In singing, we have Lea Salonga, Charice Pempenco, Bruno Mars, Apple de Ap, and Jessica Sanchez. In sports, we have in soccer the Philippine Azkals, and in basketball we have the Philippine Team. There may be ups and downs in battle but as Carlos P Romulo stated “Courage and defiance”.
We Filipinos are brave, as Carlos P Romulo stated “In my veins pulses the same
Hot blood that sent our Forefathers in battle. Against alien foes, against foreign oppressors, with courage and defiance.” We Filipinos don’t back out when in a fight. We fight for our country, we fight for our honor and we fight for our freedom.
As said, “Do I have what it takes to be Filipino?” I am made to be, and meant to be. I am Migell Adrian G. Gonzalo, proud to be Filipino. Thank you.

8. What makes someone a hero?

What is a hero?

Brave, as one might say. Lionhearted, and a man of courage. Like General Antonio Luna, he is brave, lionhearted, and a man of courage. He fought the Americans in the time of need. August 13, 1898, the time when General Antonio Luna first to see in action in Intramuros. General Antonio Luna or addressed to as "The Fiery General" is the only General who is addressed to be the most aggressive general that the Philippines ever had. Imagine, if he is still alive right now, maybe the Philippines is in a safe condition.
To be honest, I salute him, not only because of his bravery and dedication to defend Philippines away from Americans but he is the most aggressive. He didn't back out, even in the time of his death, his last words are, "Cowards! Assasins!". Those last words are the most bravest last words I've read. These are the men of Aguinaldo that assasinated General Luna. Even Americans developed an admiration for him, General Frederick Funston, stated that Luna is "ablest and most aggressive leader of the Filipino Republic.
What makes a hero? Let's say that I'm a hero. What did I do? Let's say that I fed the poor. Does that make me a hero? No, I just fed the poor. Let's say that I gave money to little children. Does that make me a hero? No, I just gave money to needy children. Lastly, let's say that I brought a homeless person to a diner to feed him. Does that make me a hero? Still no, because you just gave them what they need. Did they thank you? Will they remember you? No. They may say "thank you po" but still that still doesnt make you a hero.

A hero in general is a person who has the initiative to give people help. What do I mean? Lets say you see a person who is in need, for example an homeless guy who really needs food. You gave him food, and he thanked you. and he says nice things and says "You are a blessing". A hero doesn't always comes with a mask and a costume. Being a hero comes from the heart.

7. Another day, another moment

4:00 am, Las Pinas City.

The sound of the ducks I'm hearing as I woke up in a deep sleep. Washed my body and dressed up getting ready for school. It was 4:45 as I left the house. Dark streets, the sun haven't rise, and dead frogs everywhere. As I walk down the street, I saw these beggars, crying in agony, feeling hopeless, and nowhere to go. To be honest, I don't like to give money to those kind of people; because, they might get used to it if they ever see me again. So I moved on.

5:30 am, Baclaran.

The smell of bad ambiance, beggars, merchants, and the noise of the transportation. As I walk through Baclaran, I saw a mother with her children, they're not crying nor begging. They're just happy with what they have. Kids who have small toys are happy, to what they have. A mother who is smiling because they can still breathe and eat. That made me weep.

6:15 am, Asia Pacific College - Classroom/601.

*sigh* As I passed the guard, because it's another day of endless tasks. Lonely in a classroom full of nothing but me. Made me think of what's going to happen. 15 minutes later, a friend of mine arrived with nothing but a hankie and a bag. And the day goes on.

9:30 pm, Asia Pacific College - Multipurpose Hall 2.

Heavy breathing, sweaty clothes, and a tiring practice. As the session ends, I had nothing but a bunch of smelly clothes and my things. I changed quickly to my new set of clothes and headed home.

 11:05 pm, Las Pinas City.

As I arrived to my humble abode. Problems came in, maybe just because I'm tired. I can't think of things because I'm too hungry, too weak, and too tired to do things. "Another day, another moment." The words I hear every time I walk home.

All in all, life is a cycle.
Welcome to my world.
